TOPSHOP Makeup Review

Firstly, here is the link to my brand new Vlog, reviewing Topshop makeup. Enjoy!

I promised in the video that I would do some swatches of the vast array of toppers lipsticks I have managed to collect, so here they are:

From left to right we have: Lip Stick Pencil in Coy.
                                           Lipstick in Oh La La.
                                           Lipstick in Innocent.
                                           Lipstick in All About Me.
                                           Lipstick in Brighton Rock.
                                           Lipstick in Depth.
                                           Lipstick in Inhibition.
                                           Lipstick in Beguiled.

As I said in the video, all of these colours are long wearing and very nice to apply. They are priced at around £8 each and can be bought from the Topshop website. To me the lipsticks are like sweets, I just can't resist the pretty packaging every time they release a new colour. It does of course help, that they are really really good quality and excellent value for money. That's the kind of sweet tooth I'm into.

The cheek colours above are in ' Head Over Heels' (Coral) and 'High Five' (Bright pink), and the magical wondrous highlighting stick is in 'Prism'. The idea of a cream blush, really appeals to me, I love how, under a translucent finishing powder, they can look amazing with a matte look, but equally lend themselves to fantastic results when you're looking for a dewy finish.

They are very versatile and can be used as heavily as desired, you can even apply over a tint like Benefit's 'Cha Cha Tint', and under Benefit's 'Coralista' for example, for a truly three dimensional cheek experience.

The pencils are in 'Saddle' and 'Tarnish'. The gel liner is in 'Ink', the golden liner is 'Sun Shower' and the cream eye shadow is in 'Heavy Metal'. You can use cream eye shadow with primer, or as a primer itself, as the creamy texture can be easily built on with powder shadows, creating a more intense and stunning eye look.

Gel liner is a staple of mine, and I have used this Topshop one for a while, always managing to create effortless cat-eye flicks, subtly and professionally. It is also verstatile, as it can be applied as thick or thinly as desired, moving from day to night in the sweep of a brush. Eye-mazing.

I hope you enjoyed my review, let me know if you have any questions or requests!

Love Lauren xx
