New Nails Inc Concrete in Monument

Nails inc. have introduced these playful bright colours, which are perfect enough for Spring/Summer '13 as it is, but carrying on the textured nail trend, these concrete varnishes are a fantastic update.

I chose Monument (a bright lime/yellow, perfect for Spring).

You simply need one coat (not too thin), and the magic begins work. As it dries, similarly to 'cracked' nail effect polishes, the smooth texture breaks into small lumps and bumps in the surface of the polish, a bit like...well...concrete..

It is slightly similar in texture to velvet nails by Ciaté which have gotten wet, so not furry and soft, but obviously textured and almost abrasive to feel. In the best way..

I give these a massive thumbs up, can't wait to try more shades and wear this bad boy until the sun shines (literally).

ALSO. Nails Inc are rumoured to be bringing out a Denim textured varnish later this year (around summer), so keep your nails at the ready!! And I shall obviously report back...
