Garnier BB Cream Review *Combination to Oily Skin*

When BB creams first came out I was intrigued, yet slightly apprehensive. As a girl with combo to oily skin, I am very familiar with the trials and tribulations regarding makeup products which claim to moisturise in any way. I normally look for something which is going to matte-ify, without being cakey, yet the call of the seemingly flawless BB faces parading around advertisements were shouting at me to try one. How can you not with the endless lists of promises they make for your skin? SPF, thank you kindly... Pore blurring, yes indeed, and even skin tone?... Well I shall take a bit of that if you're offering!

When I fatefully discovered, then, that Garnier had released a BB cream specifically aimed at combination to oily skin, with all the same skin perfecting promises, I HAD to try it. And I have never looked back. Garnier are not joking with this product, I couldn't possibly see how any liquid on my face could be anti-shine, bu Lo and Behold, this glides of evenly, like a light tinted moisturiser, whilst covering blemish to bags. Stunning.

I regularly use this as an everyday skin perfector, it feels light, takes care of my skin and is a great base for cream blusher or highlighter, for that extra glow. Despite being anti-shine, it leaves my skin looking subtle and soft, without drying it out or leaving it dull. I just look healthier, nicely coloured and covered, without any senstation of wearing a skin product at all!

The one thing I would say, is, as much as a light dusting of bronzer to contour the face is fine, if you're thinking of going for a full on powder fest, it can leave some slightly streaky marks, as it absorbs the bronzer slightly, so watch out for that if you're craving a tropical touch.

The colour I use is Medium, and it is a nice warm beige. I would hesitate to use this colour without any form of tan on the rest of my body, (especially neck and chest), but with tan, (which I do always wear), it blends seamlessly, giving a real flawless finish. I recommend the light for those of you with lighter skin tones, especially if you dont want a case of the two coloured lady.

Garnier BB Cream, Combo to Oily Skin in Medium. In Natural Light.

It really is a fantastic product over all, it stops breakouts as it isn't a heavy foundation, yet covers any blemishes and under-eye shadows really well. I will sometimes just use this without any concealer at all! It really is a Miracle Skin Perfector. You go Garnier!

Flawless Love, Lauren xx
