Rihanna for Viva Glam

Viva Glam Packaging

With all of the selling price going towards helping Men, Women and Children who are suffering with HIV/AIDS, this concept by MAC not only looks good, but it does a lot of good too. This time, (no doubt influenced by her extremely popular sell-out collaborations with MAC just recently), the Viva Glam campaign is fronted by the effervescent sensation that is Rihanna.

There are two products, a Lip Glass and a Lipstick, both limited edition, so if you like what you see, you may as well do the charitable thing and pick up one of each. Need more persuading? Here's what they look like…

The Lip Glass

On the Lip

The Lip Glass is a beautiful Blue/Red shimmer gloss, with an ideal consistency and pigmentation. It applies really nicely, not sticky or gooey, just luscious and super enhancing. One of the most lovely elements of this flattering lip product, is the shimmer. This makes it ideal for evening, as it catches the light and would look infallible in a candlelight setting, (such a wow for a first date magic).

The Lipstick

On the Lip

I am a massive fan of Rihanna for MAC's RiRi Woo, (Ruby Woo is a PERFECT dupe), and this is along the same lines in terms of colour. It has a little more of a shimmer and a sheen, as the RiRi Woo is super matte, with a velvet finish. This is such a flattering red. Not only does the blue tone make your teeth look white, but it lights up your whole face, and without a doubt would be flattering on all skin tones. I dare you to try this and not like it. Because of the subtle sheen, it seems to optically plump up your lip, giving you that highly sort-after 'juicy' look.

Sexy and all for a good cause, it would be rude not to surely?!

Lots of Love,
