Lifestyle|| SO?… Christmas Gifting Event

In (scorching hot) July of this year, I was lucky enough to attend the So…? Christmas in July event, to celebrate the launch of their new couture city sprays and some excellent Christmas gifting ideas.

The party was really on with bespoke cocktails and manis, gorge canapés and best of all…macaroons with the SO…? emblem on. Cool doesn't even cover it, (not to mention yum!)

NEW| Benefit lolli tint

lolli tint

This new cheek/lip stain by Benefit is so so gorgeous. It's a sweet pastel purple treat, that is super on-trend and really flattering. Last summer I became obsessed with RiRi Boy (from Rihanna's collab with MAC), which was a matte lilac lipstick, that just looks stunning on. This colour totally reminds me of that. It's a beautiful violet hue, that warms up the cheeks and lips, without being too purple and gets me mega excited for spring.

It's sort of like a colour you could imagine a Cadbury's Mini Egg being (oh god, now I want some chocolate…), fresh, cute and…well, just delicious.

It also lasts, and then lasts some more. I strongly advise blending straight after application, or you could easily end up with some very funky looking lilac tribal-esque stripes on your face. Cool, but perhaps not the desired effect.

The Bottle

As with all the other Benefit tints, the packaging is as divine as the product. It is perfect to compliment a powder blush when applied beforehand, and the same with a shade of lip colour, for extra oomph and longevity.

As you can see its a beautiful sweet treat of a colour, and I personally know I will be rocking this all the way to 2015 and beyond. It costs £24.50 and you can pick yourself up one from here.

Lots of Love,

Jo Malone - Peony and Blush Suede

Beautiful Packaging as Always

Peony & Blush Suede

This is the latest in fragrance by Jo Malone, and it is just gorgeous. It is floral and fresh, but once developed on your skin, it deepens into a sensual and irresistible smell. It also lasts forever, I can't stop smelling my wrists and smiling (just hope no-one sees me...), it's a truly beautiful, clean, crisp and heady scent for this Autumn/ Winter.

Jo Malone rocks. Do you have any favourites by this brand?

A/W Pink Lips with Chanel

Chanel Rouge Allure Lip Colour in 93 'Exaltee'

This is such a perfect lip to work the A/W obsession with Pink. If you don't fancy covering yourself in a pastel Pink oversize cocoon coat, perk up your pout with Pink instead. This gorgeous, cream lip by Chanel Rouge Allure glides on like a dream. It is such an easy pink to wear for most skin tones, and for any occasion. Its sophisticated, yet sexy. I have fallen hard.

You can pick one up yourself from all good Chanel counters, for around £24. It may sound pricey, but it's an undeniable luxury, and the packaging is just irresistible.

Really Ruby Lipstick

Topshop's Really Ruby

How many Red lipsticks do you need?... I think that's a pretty unanswerable question, because 'Red' can be a lot more than you think. Case in point - Really Ruby by Topshop. This is a Raspberry lip colour, with a Blue undertone (fantastic for making teeth look super white), and perfect for the encroaching Autumn/Winter season. As much as I love an Orange, or 'Fire-Engine' Red, I have been searching for quite some time for a blue based, Raspberry lip... an everyday RiRi (or Ruby) Woo if you will. And I think I may have found it....

Kissable Raspberry

On the Lip

If you're a fan of M.A.C's Ruby Woo (or Rhianna's very similar RiRi Woo for M.A.C), this is the perfect everyday, cheaper sister. At around £8 it's great value for money and provides and very luscious, similar colour with a slightly more of a cream (as opposed to matte) finish. It glides on very easily and lasts for ages! An absolute bargain and  the perfect way to heat up your lips as it gets colder.

Jo Malone - Wild Fig and Cassis Cologne

Wild Fig and Cassis Cologne

This is such a gorgeous fragrance, especially for Autumn/Winter... and as the days are cooling off (and filled with rain), i'd say now is about the time to start embracing the chill. (Almost).

It's a very woody and heady smell, with a strong, deep note of wild fig. I personally love wild fig, I burn lovely figgy candles year round (especially in Autumn), and to me it's very earthy yet exotic. It may not be to everyone's taste, so where possible i's definitely recommend a cheeky try-before-you-buy.

I think it's a very sensual scent, it's almost unisex in the rough, animalistic, woody notes... but the wild cassis (blackcurrent), lifts it to an irresistible feminine fragrance. I receive nothing but compliments when I wear this smell, and it really gets me excited for the cold months ahead, (Winter fashion is the best...), plus it's perfect for those log fire evenings, and swanky (or not) Christmas parties.

Available for £39 for 30ml from HERE

All Boxed Up

Plus, how gorgeous is the Jo Malone Packaging. I want to live in a world of Cream and Black, with the entire air frangranced with their wonderful scents. But that's another story for another day... Although, as an aside, I highly recommend you try their new Peony and Suade, which was just released this month. It is definitely on my to buy list....So watch this space!

Lots of Lovely Love,
