Marc Cain A/W 14 Event

Last week I was invited to attend the Marc Cain 2014 bloggers event, which comprised of some absolutely lust-worthy pieces for the collection (available in August). Still run by the man himself, this incredible fashion house is a combination of on-trend aesthetic and some seriously tactile texture.

To start the night off right, we were presented with a choice of two bespoke cocktails; either the 'Marc's Margarita' or 'Cookies and Cain'. Prepared with futuristic applewood smoke, the Marg was an Alice in Wonderland-esque puff of futuristic delight, and the Cookies and Cain, was a deliciously decadent Whiskey based glass of indulgence, served with a cookie on the side. Perfect. Check out CocktailCo. on Twitter for more updates and crazy/wonderful creations.

Post cocktail and canapé consumption, I was guided through the concept of the line with some very capable and engaging ladies from TASK PR.

Here are a few photos to try and show you just how breath taking the looks are. I honestly fell in love with some of the pieces...like seriously in love.

All of the wow. Some personal faves are the above faux fur jersey jumper and pretty much every single coat. Oh, and the accessories... Okay. All of it. I love it ALL. I was literally like a cocktail fuelled kid in a sweet shop, every piece was more and more exciting. You should see their faux leather trousers, honestly hand-on-heart the BEST faux leather products I have ever seen. They're light and wearable, but look super realistic and soft.

Beautiful. We also got to try a really fun street style photoshoot wearing some of the new collection, absolutely the dream. This is where I really fell deeply in love with the coat I was wearing...

As you can see, Marc Cain have some stunning pieces for this A/W, I will keep you updated when I receive the look book and when the release date for this collection will be!

Not knowing a crazy amount about this brand prior to the event, I am so glad I can share with you, all the amazing pieces and concepts, if you don't know a great deal of Marc Cain either, maybe now you will be as exicted as I am for this collection to hit stores and online.

Lots of Love,

Lauren xx
