Maybelline Gel Eyeliner 24H - First Impressions





Black Gold, Brown, Intense Black


I bought these as a 3 for 2 at Boots - link, after falling madly in love with these colours. The Black Gold is perfect for a glitzy smokey-eye and the brown is amazing as a less intense colour, for a more everyday cat-eye. I definitely wanted to get the Intense black, as my go-to style of eye is always a flick, and I like the look of a bold black line. I am TOO excited to try these in a look, and I will post some, and probably vlog some very soon!







Each liner comes with its very own applicator brush, which when I was swatching on my arm, seemed pretty smooth and controlled, so I am very intrigued to test it out. The pots are so petite and made of glass which I think looks really chic and professional. 


Black Gold, Brown and Intense Black

The pigment and smooth, deep quality (as you can see from the swatches), is in my opinion, amazing for a product which retails at around £8! You don't have to use loads to get a really opaque, solid colour either, so they will last for a while. All I can hope for now is that they don't dry out really fast...

    Ive been using the black one, i hated it at first but now its my favourite! Even if it did destroy my mac eye liner brush :( x

      oh my gosh! how did it destroy it? i have heard they are as good as the Bobbi Brown in some ways! I suppose I shall have to test and see :)

      I really love them all, they just glide on and really stay put for a long time, but then with the right eye make up remover, they come off just fine too :)
