Continuing on from the Valentine's theme from yesterday's nail art blog, I decided to dial down the decedent, and rock some nails with slightly more toned-down love power. Less dazzling these may be, but less lovely - no way. The combination of the matte pink with the glizty glory of the feature finger, is a lovely, even romantic, contrast of textures.
I used Rimmel's Matte Finish Mattifying Topcoat, on top of No7's Stay Perfect polish in ME! ME! ME! 250, for every finger except my ring, on each hand. (Only after, of course, I applied a coat of Sally Hansen's dream product -Nailgrowth Miracle, to protect).
I simply painted a couple of coats of Model's Own in Pink Fizz to each ring finger. This polish is fantastic, there is such high pigmentation of glitter, that unlike some other glitter varnishes, it comes out lovely and thick, from the first coat.
Finally, I used my 'it' nail product of the moment...the Rimmel, and painted a coat over each nail painted in the No7, and left to dry.
To me, this looks stylish and cupid-esque chic. The matte, yet bright pink nails, really offset and accentuate the bright dazzle of the glitter fingers. Yum.
I hope you like these simplistic, sexy nails as much as I do!
