The Boxes - Portobello and Belgravia |
I bought a couple of sets of the Millie Mackintosh for Nouveau Lashes False eyelashes, as I had heard amazing things about them, and needed to try them for myself. I am not an avid eyelash wearer, not without trying, but I always end up looking like a cartoon and taking them off, unless it's fancy dress. I have tried lots, because I love the look when people rock them, but none availed. I had high hopes for these, but I wasn't holding my breath…
I will just be reviewing the Belgravia Lash in this post, and I'll pop up another for Portobello really soon, as I have tried and tested both already!
Inside |
Inside, you get a mini glue (non latex), mini tweezers for application, and instruction leaflet… and of course the lashes themselves.
The lashes all claim to be light, easy to wear and made with natural hair. So good, so far, I just couldn't wait to see if they actually lived up to my expectations.
The instructions are very clear and easy to use, and I love the mini tweezers; it makes it all so much easier than messing around when you don't know what you're doing. I tested them on my eye as recommended and chopped a few lashes off each side to get the perfect fit, and once on, I was really really happy!!

One Coat of Mascara |
These are my lashes before, and with a hint of mascara. They recommend that you do all your makeup before and then apply the lashes for a more natural look. So, I added some liner then popped them on and here are the results:

I am in absolute LOVE with these lashes, I cannot believe how comfy they are too! I can't wait to wear these out soon, and i'm so happy I have found some lashes that don't make me look like a joke. The perfect combo of natural and glam. Pretty much Millie in a nutshell then…
Keep and eye out for my Portobello review (and i'll be buying others too ;))
Lots of Lash Love,
