Nail HQ Ridge Filler

Nail HQ Ridge Filler *

The Nail HQ Ridge Filler is designed to be a 'perfect foundation' for nice and smooth nail colour application. It has been created specifically to hydrate, moisturise and condition the nails, leaving them primed and ready for that perfect professional mani-at-home look.

I have been trying this product out over the last few days, and I have to say it's quite the finger treat. You only need one coat, (which dries exceedingly fast) into a pale nude/pink, which is flattering and you just know it's doing a whole loada good too. You can even apply a coat and then pop your favourite colour polish over the top while it gets to work, but I decided to leave the product au natural.

My nails (as you can see above), have got to the point now, where they are pretty long. Normally this means breakages left, right and centre, but with this applied… it feels like a protective forcefield, meaning I don't have to worry when I am ripping open a can of baked beans or peeling off an apple sticker. Its great.

I haven't had a single breakage, so I am super happy - and this combined with the elegant look just makes it a total win win for me.

If your nails are looking a little worn out and peaky, why not give this formula a go? You can pick one up from here for £5.99. Bargain.

Lots of Love,

Nail Edit|| Model's Own Ice Neon in Pukka Purple

In my latest post [SUMMER EDIT VIDEO], I mentioned that I was loving the Ice Neon and Polish for Tan collections, which are both recent additions to the Model's Own family. This is Pukka Purple, part of the Ice Neon line, and it's a fabulous Purple punch for your finger tips, especially this time of year.

Mani Monday: Halloween Special

Halloween Nail Ideas

Now, I love an excuse to crazy up my nails, and Halloween is just one of those times you get to go just a bit freaky. These are just a few designs I dreamt up, I hope you enjoy. I'll pop a bit of a method and the tools I used below, but this post is basically just for inspiration, so have fun!

Ghose, Jack O' Lantern, Speckles, Kitty and Mould - Yum

Furry Mould, Creepy Dead Girl and Horrid Eye

Bloodshot, Gross Eye

Creepy Dead Girl, Eye, Goop and Skull

Speckles

The Gang

Speckles, Spider and Monster

Tree Silhouette, Ghost and Creepy Moon

Jack O' Lantern and Kitty

Goop, Skull and Speckles

As you can see, the designs range from creepy eyeballs, to skulls, to goop and then tame green, orange or black etc with some speckles. How detailed and gross you get is entirely up to you, I just love the drama!

I used lots of cocktail sticks, my trusty black WAH and Models Own nail art pen in black, the OPI Skullicious set, Barry M in White and Green Gelly pot and the Maybelline Color Show speckled polish in Black. Any colours in a 'Halloween' theme will be great, it's up to you how you use them :)

Tools

I hope you liked this inspo post, what will you be getting up to this Halloween?

Spooky Love,
